I was just reading back in this thread to see if you were gonna be there so I could thank you in person and buy you a beer -- really appreciated it.

One problem -- I might not be able to make it depending on when an actor is available to do ADR this weekend. I hope I can though. Looking forward to seeing you knuckleheads :cheesy:
 
Yeah, I should be there, $5 in my greasy hand for Jay's DVD. Man, that is a good idea. When I finish Man-Hole III, maybe I will sell some DVDs too. The "trilogy." Free bottle of lube with each purchase!

BAD NEWS GUYS!

Unfortunately, B&H had to CANCEL our meeting. Dave Brommer, who facilitated the meeting last time, was involved in an accident and will be out of work for some time. We've been told there's no one else that can help us and so they cannot offer us the room. We JUST found this out and don't think we're going to be able to come up with somewhere to meet in 3 days. I know many of you were looking forward to this, as I was, so if anyone has any idea of where we can get together, please post it or PM me.

THIS IS NOT THE END OF NYC DVXUSER MEETINGS! Even if we are unable to pull something together for this weekend, we will be back in May.
 
So... does a meeting have to be about footage, or can we just get a bunch of cats together to talk biz and hang out for a few drinks, or???

I need to get out of the house more often, isallumsayin'...

why don't we skip the meetiing and just do the drinks after part?

like at that mustang place or (or anywhere else)

but I would recommend a place with food and drinks
 
I guess the Mustand place is fine with me. I have a meeting with my writing partner later at 39th and 9th, so that works for me.

PS Coffee, your adapter broke on my watch. ( unintentional of course) the battery pack came ungaffed from the tripod in the rain,( the adpter was under plastic bag) and the whiplash on the wire was too much,and it snapped apart. WE tried our best to fix it. Sorry dude, it had someweird, wire that we couldnt strip and twist back to gether. Aram got it up and running though, Sorry man..... i will fix it for you if you like ( or try to)

Ergh. Five takes me out of the game. It's a work day for me, and it starts at 4:30. Maybe if you guys do a good bar crawl I can meet you out at 11pm or so :)
 
I probably won't be able to make it out there tonight. Have fun guys. We'll be back next month, whether at B&H or somewhere.
