In other news, Walter's still lookin' for a couple people on April 8th for the Location Lighting Seminar. If anyone missed my post about it in the other thread, check it out HERE. I'll be there. It'd be cool to have a bunch of DVXer's there to learn lighting alongside of.

Ask Walter if he'll give you directions so you can avoid Times Square and get over to the upper East Side. Hope you can come.

you obviously have never gone to washington heights.... ive gotten to brooklyn faster from B&H than there.

Ha, I used to have a girlfriend in Westchester and used to drive down through there all the time. I'll bet you I could make it to B&H in 20 mins. from there on a good day. That's the thing, you never know. It could take you an hour to go a couple blocks, or you could leap from west side to east in a couple minutes. It's a crapshoot.

we’re gearing up for my hero fest entry

some NY usergroup members have already signed up for crew positions but we'd like to know if anyone else is interested as we put our respective schedules together.

We'll be shooting at various times between April 14th and the first weekend in May, mostly on weekends.

We have zero (and I mean ZERO money) and need the following things:
  1. Dolly
  2. Wheelchair
  3. small crane
  4. gaucamole gun (or something like it)
  5. compressed air squib rigs
  6. pet rat to borrow or if you have snake we would buy a rat to use and then feed to your snake
  7. fake dead rat
  8. wide angle nikon mount lens for 35mm adaptor
  9. additional 35mm adaptor
  10. airsoft guns
er... I think that's it.

What's the deal with the parking ? I know that Jay had some issue last time because they wanted to charge him for parking in the lot
