nex-ea50 and pwer zoom

I am aware of the extender use with SDOF cameras but better yet would be a windowed sensor so the B4 lenses could be used as normal.

Just speculating here...

Assuming the lens is sending the focal length (or zoom percentage) back to the body like broadcast lenses do, couldn't the body ramp up the ISO to compensate for the closing aperture while zooming? In most situations I'd take the extra 1.5 stops or so of gain at the long end of the lens to be able to do snap zooms and other ENG-style shots without worrying about keeping my aperture above a 6.3 all the time, or having to fix them in post.

This would be less useful in low light where the ISO is already cranked up, but seems like it'd be a (relatively) easy way to make the lens work more like a real broadcast lens, as long as it can be turned off when not needed.

I just learned that there's also a little zoom control rocker on the side of the new 18-200 power zoom lens with three fixed speeds (low-mid-high). So when this lens will become available separately at the end of this year, you can also use it on the FS100, NEX-5N etc.

In the promo video it says ea50 only. Also I didn't see a servo on the lens in the video. It looked like it was on the body.
