Newtek tricaster and three 150s

Been looking at this option for a little while. (I have more funding coming in, yea!)
I think the 150 puts out a 1080 60i signal from the hdmi port, right?

Anyone ever hook up 150s to a tricaster and record live from the hdmis on the 150? Problems with this type setup?
 
We use a tricaster with 3 HPX370 cameras- we use the SDI outs on each, and that was a massive improvement over using the analog inputs. We actually would have file errors and dropped frames doing 4x3 analog, now we don't- so I'm guessing the HDMI option will work nicely, too.

did you go down the route?
We have two HMC152s and looking to live mix with a tricaster or similar
 
You will have to find some locking hdmi connectors other wise your cables will come loose and drive you crazy.
 
There's also distance considerations when using HDMI. How long of an HDMI cable will you need, generally speaking?
