I was wondering if the dvx100a needs to be serviced even if nothing is wrong with it. I recently got a hold of one and as far as I know it has been used often but not consistently. The camera operates fine now with no issues but has never been serviced since being bought in 04. Does it need routine servicing like cleaning heads or something? Excuse my ignorance but how should I upkeep such an expensive camera. So far it has just been used and used and stored safely but that is about it.
