Newbie about to get his feet wet...

Hello DVXUser!

Newbie here - I've been lurking for a few years. I spend most of my time over at dvinfo, but after reading up on LoveFest I decided I'd stay akin to DVXuser as well.

I've done quite a bit of research on LoveFest and thought that TimeFest would be a good opportunity to get my feet wet. I'm a film student from Orlando, Florida so my cast and crew options will be slightly limited but after all - this is a learning experience, right? I have quite a bit of equipment including a Canon A1 and a Letus Extreme, all I needed was the motivation - and here it is!

I'm also excited to be working with some of the cemented users of this community for assistance in writing, scoring, etc.

Here's to the beginning of a long journey!
 
Hey, welcome, welcome. Believe, once you get in, you get addicted. Best of luck in this fest, as well as keeping yourself from being an addict.
 
Dude, jump in! i'm working on my very first movie for dvx fest... also this is my very first movie at all :) The more of us, the better!
 
This is a great community. The key is to care about other people, take constructive criticism, and never ever stop trying and making films. Then you will succeed! Welcome to the fun!:2vrolijk_08:

adster, good for you for jumping in!

As you may know (since you've been a member for a year) this IS a great community that provides support and knowledge. (I know that I have learn a lot here myself!)

This is going to be my first entry into a DVXuser fest as well. I'm excited and nervous to throw my work into the fray. Here we go!
