C100: Newb question. Best Picture Profile with no color correction required?

I have a pretty New C100 that I am playing around with. I'm used to PP like my Mark II and 7D. I use the new Cinelook profile that requires no grading in post. I would love to get the same vibrant colors out of the C100 . please help me put guys. Thank you

I think the closest you are going to get without some work is EOS STD. I don't think anybody has made a stylized PP like Cinelook for the C100.

By the way, slightly contentious question, I guess. But I'm interested to know what does it mean to be a Philip Bloom Certified Cinematographer?

Is he even recognised himself by the ISC, BSC or ASC as a cinematographer? Or is cinematographer a self-bestowed title these days?

Ben.

Aha - my apologies. Respect to you.

Someone finally pricked the PB BS Bubble.

Sorry for the hijack. Carry on as you were...

Ben.

Don't want to be rude Joe... But There's no such thing as being a Philip Bloom certified cinematographer. And your signature is big has hell. Oups...mine too is big...my bad. Sorry too for the hijack.

I have two version of cine1 gamma - the first CP with normal4 color matrix (needs adjusting of color gain -8) which is better in daylight
and the second CP with cine1 color matrix (color gain about +29). I like wdr at evening because has better colors.

Here is a small test of my colors profiles
(normal4 and cine1 have a small luma correction, wdr needs cyan correction and log needs cyan, yellow and red col. corr.)

and rough log from camera (with the quick WB in camera CP menu)

Please ignore small brightness differences, I hope that this test can help.

I will give this a shot

If you say so!
I'll put "Steven Spielberg certified cinematographer" for my signature...I bet I will get hired in a sec in Hollywood. ;)

I feel this is very misleading not to mention also very disrespectful for Mr. Bloom.
The fact that I have to explain this to you is very strange

Lol, its funny that you take this seriously and dissapointing that you think its embarrasing to him. Im newto this camera, thats about it. I shoot for A&Eand HGTV so im not exactly new. Been around Videography/cinematography since the Beta camera days since my Dad had been doing it (RIP). Im sure im way older than you and last but not the least, there was a whole thread on this with Philip talking about it too, it was a laugh for me being a stud lkke him and supposively to get all the girls with that status.

That's not the point...new comer or not, there's a lot of people on this forum that will think that it's true...very misleading. You are actually telling people (that don't actually know you) that you are a Certified cinematographer (of Philip Bloom)...joke or not, some people will think that it's true...end of story!

LMAO... Calm down. Now I'm more proud of it

What a whack thread. Are you serious with that claim? The indignant nature of the responses is disturbing.
