New Web Series shot with 2 XHA1's

Well done!

The XH-A1 held up well to the big cameras in the last Zacuto HD shootout. And it looks great here. Looking forward to the next episodes.

Wow! See, this is why I still love the A1... stellar work, and way to show off what the camera is capable of.

You've got one of the best produced web series that I've seen - really nice job

Definitely really well made. I saw only the first episode and subscribed so I can see the rest later. Keep up the good work!

I haven't had the chance to check out any of the footage yet, but did you shoot the cams bare or did you use a 35mm adapter?

Just watched it...WOW! It was great! I can't wait for more episodes to come out! If you don't mind me asking, what was the budget for this short?

Watched Ep1 so far. Very impressive, I loved the track, the music and effects are spot on and well mixed.

Is it specially composed music? Cheers.

edit: I just saw the score was recorded at Badaboom Studios and looking for them at Canadian Recording Services.com, Norton blocked viruses from all their links.

I don't know your role on this production so i hope i'm not insulting you but the directing was relatively weak-to-average. On no/low budget productions you have very few thing going for yourself and the strongest points are acting and then staging. There is no point attempting to do CSI-like montages without the quality of the footage the TV series have (which in itself is just average TV directing). Ideas is what sells no/low budget productions.

Very nice. Makes me want to see more. What encoding did you use for the web? Quality looks nice and quick streaming.

My only complaint after watching the first episode is the zooming. There are zooms everywhere. Maybe its just me, but I hate zooms - I see it as a lazy and tacky way to avoid cutting and/or setting up a new shot. I understand that zooms have their use in cinema, but not one of the ones I saw felt motivated enough to justify using it. Other than that, a great display of what this camera is capable of and overall a well produced miniseries.
