Today, we announced the newest member of our VariCam family - the VariCam Pure. A "co-production" between Panasonic and Codex, the 4K RAW camera combines the existing VariCam 35 camera head with a new Codex V-RAW 2.0 recorder and is ideal for episodic television shows and feature films. Weighing just 11 pounds with a more compact form factor, the VariCam Pure records uncompressed RAW files up to 120-fps onto industry-standard Codex Capture Drive 2.0 media.
