New trailer for "Throwback" - upcoming Aussie horror feature film shot on Canon HV20
Hi everyone,
Last year I posted the teaser trailer for my upcoming horror feature "Throwback" on this forum (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthrea...n-HV20&p=1986136295&highlight=#post1986136295). Well now I've got something new for you: the full trailer, which is bigger, bolder and more badass than the teaser:
Apart from a few ultra low-light shots we had to film on a Canon 5D MKII because of its larger sensor, and some underwater shots done on a Kodak ZX3, this movie has been shot entirely on a PAL Canon HV20 at 25psf using a Rode Video Mic to record sound, and occasionally a Sennheiser wireless lav as well. It's being posted in Premiere Pro CS4 and colour-graded using Magic Bullet. I hope to have the final cut done by mid-2013, just in time to start submitting the movie to film festivals worldwide. To find out more, visit our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/throwbackmovie and the official site: http://www.travisbain.com.au.
I welcome your questions and comments about the movie and how we've made it on the good ole HV20. There are numerous behind-the-scenes video blogs on our site http://www.travisbain.com.au/throwback_bts.htm and a new one is due any day now. The third video blog shows me talking about my camera rig and accessories.
I hope you like the new trailer and am looking forward to hearing your feedback on it!
