Hey guys,

I've been trolling on here for a while, now that I finally picked up my 7D I thought I'd register and try to give back a bit.

A lot of the info on here has helped me build out my kit and I really appreciate it. I really love this thing. I'm just starting to get comfortable using it, but I have a long way to go.

I posted some a comp of some playtime shots, would love to hear everyone's feedback... (10 points to whomever ID's the music!!)

Hey evan - thanks for posting. Looks like you're getting a handle on the 7D pretty quickly. I dug the beach stuff especially - and nice closing shot with the plane. Which lens was that shot with? Seemed a bit soft on the edges, but I liked the look of that (may have also been a vignette you added in post, I'm not sure).

By the way, when you embed vimeo clips on here, you only need to include the number of the video in the tags, not the whole link. I edited your post so the video would play (you can hit the edit button to see the code so you know what I'm talking about).

Oh, and I have no idea what the music was.... though it reminded me of something I would have heard on twin peaks a bit.

MARIO 64!!!!!!!!! in the water.... F$*%ing sick man :) brings back some very nice memories.
 
sorry, i had to come back and watch that again. The music made me feel soo nostalgic it's ridiculous. I get these flashes of mario swimming through rings, getting air bubbles and coins. Damn, good times back then, school, no worries.. Now im depressed.
