New T2i has "Built-in low pass filter"

It's one of the features on the sensor (info according to dpreview.com).

Could this be the feature everyone's been waiting for to prevent aliasing???

Any insight as to what exactly that would do for us? I'm not familiar with low-pass filters in video.

Not if this footage is any indication of what it's capable of: http://www.vimeo.com/9299513

All cameras (at least as I understand it) have a built in optical low pass filter, the problem with these vDSLR's or HDSLR's is that the filter is tuned to stills at 12-18 megapixels, vs HD somewhere around 2 megapixels. Thus...aliasing. However, the level of aliasing also seems to be dependent on how they read the sensor, as all the footage I've seen from the GH1 looks like it has less aliasing than the Canon line.

What would be interesting to me is a camera that had either interchangeable, or switchable optical low pass filters. One for stills mode, and one for video. THAT could potentially get rid of the aliasing, depending on how they read the sensor.

Yeah without a doubt it's an optical low pass filter. A low pass audio filter would simply mean any frequencies above say 200 hz would be cut. Not sure what use that would be on a camera like this. It's definitely not the manual AGC we are all looking for.
