New Special Offer for HMC150

Anyone know what it is yet? What would you want it to be?

I hope it includes two 5800mah batteries instead of one battery + 8gb SDHC card.

Or maybe one battery plus a $200 rebate.
Or maybe two 16gb cards plus a battery.
Or maybe ...
 
If I was to guess I would say the special offer is likely to be less. If they can hardly keep the stores in stock with the HMC as it is; why do they need to offer greater incentives to move the product?

I would bank on maybe a Panasonic 16gb card.
 
I don't remember where it was but someone quoted a Panasonic dealer that knew the Mar 31st rebate was the better of the two.
 
What do you mean "the end user will be better than last month" ? That sentence doesn't make any sense..
 
I'm curious as to how it could be better, unless a 32GB Panasonic SDHC card is somehow thrown in. With the low cost of 16GB SDHC media from other vendors, the current rebate with an extended battery and 8GB card is pretty sweet as it is.

on a camera this new and that sells this well, I doubt it. My guess is:

the book barry has coming out
the battery
pana 32gb memory card (at the prices they charge I bethca they got alot left)

and for us suckers who bought early- zilch! Would be nice if pana would at least give the book to those who didnt qualify for the first reabate :)

Agreed. I think the battery is a better deal regardless...but "$230 value" is kind of a stretch when I can just go to B&H and get it for $90.

C'mon, if you're offering a lousy promotion, at least don't post a price (hello? Internet search?)

Shame on Panasonic, indeed.

Seriously Panasonic? A 16GB card and no battery? You do realize we can buy 16GB SDHC cards for $23 shipped these days, right? I'd rather have the battery(overpriced) and no card.

I guess I shouldn't be complaining though. It's still a free bonus.
