New short Film *The Drive In* - (Enjoy)

Nice job. Going back to what Brown said, even though he was having a bad day much of what he commented was correct.

First, lighting in cars in always annoying. I filmed a feature a couple months ago, and the only way the shot survived was through a light shining through the moonroof. Since you had trouble with lighting, your short ended up looking a little like "Collateral". Just something to keep in mind.

Also, continuity is important. In films, great continuity is not something you notice, but choppy and incongruous shots become very distracting and potentially destructive to a short. Something that might help would just be to run through the whole scene from one angle, then the whole scene again from the other angle. That way, atleast you're not moving the camera around a lot. Also, try not to cut so much.

Otherwise, good job. My first shorts looked a hell of a lot worse than this..

Naaah sorry It did not look nothing like Michael Mann's COLLATERAL. But anyway the story was simple and it held my attention. Nice.

im sorry, that was not entertaining.. in terms of lighting and shots that is. the story, i wasn't interested in. The opening title FX from LIVE TYPE made me sick..

I'm afraid i didn't like the film. The acting was fine, except the kiss was too apparently fake. The tension and the scenario are great too. What turned me off was the editing, the lighting, and the music overwhelmed much of it rather than adding to it.

The most distracting parts were the cuts that seemed out of sync and out of place some times.

It could work but needs a new cut and remix, IMO
