New Server/ Problems?

Oddly enough it just did it for me, but I think it was after I had cleared my cache/cookies. I just closed my browser & came back to the site to test it & mine's fine.

The little blue arrow! "Go to first new post" How long has there been there? That is an awsome feature, glad to finally see it in use here! :) :) :beer:

if your on mozilla the cookies changed when we went to the new server, so your firefox is trying the old cookie.. clear the cache and it should work :)

It doesn't do it for me anymore...just goes to the last post, not the last unread post. :(
 
Hmm.. is it just me, or is DVXuser lagging out at times? .. especially while posting it sometimes takes a loooong time (sometimes up to aroudn 30 sec for a post to go through, especially from quick reply.)
And other occasional timeouts .. at least from me after about 45 sec..

EDIT, this post took 32sec to post from hitting "send"

Looks like the IP address changed, too. I had to do an ipconfig /flushdns at my computer at work....kept getting a no page configured here error.
 
yeah we are almost there0. the site will be down again tonight so i can flush some of the old log files that are killing the server. IP did change, as the i offloaded the PHP onto a new dedicated server.

The error log alone was hitting 2gb a day.. because of 404 errors from people trying to hit the old fileserver. Funky stuff, lets cross our fingers that tommorow we are cooking.

.. i think I may just start a thread about that (i was pondering earlier tonight...)

that modify in the forum without going to advanced was so good, but this function has disappeared.

why?
