New Sanyo GH1?

Why on earth would they name this camera model the GH1?

Even the prefix is almost identical. The only way that's a coincidence is if the letters actually stand for something really generic in Japanese.

Odd seeing as Panasonic own sanyo.

well, to be fair...the name "Panasonic" barely appears on "our" GH1. oh the audacity. whatever. "Lumix" sounds better than "Sanyo" anyway.....moving on...
