Please advise, is it smart to wait till NAB, before purchasing HVX200, and see maybe Panasonic comes up with newer camera? In previous years, how many new announcements done in NAB? Thanks :)

And just because its introduced at NAB doesnt mean you will be able to buy one at that time. As David said, if you need one get one now if you dont then wait, NAB has nothing to do with that it is just common sense.

I'm abit curious about this as well, not so much wondering about something new being released but more so about some sort of promotional offer/price drop being announced.

It's true and I have the proof. I just took delivery of an HVX yesterday, so that means something incredible is about to be released at the same price, with many more features, including a back scratcher, nose picker, and shoe tying device. It always works this way with me. I buy just before something even better is announced. Well, except for my Canon 5D still camera, which is still very current.

ya the free 16g card is only available in the states tho which doesn't do me any good up here in Canada..you guys get all the good promo offers!

btw when do you think the hvx with auto nosepicker will be available? ive been waiting forever for this feature
