Found myself in New Orleans twice in same week. Thought it was a good time to try out my new 7D. Video and Stills. No color correction.
Basically a compilation of shots from walking around.

A look at untouched 7D footage.

how did you get footage from airplane pilots cabin ?Guess it was small airplane ? First shots look impressive.VEry nice for beginning of the movie.

Ooh another thread where I can say this. Who dat?

Oh and judging from the fact that he's landing at Lakefront I'm guessing it's not a commercial kind of flight?

Actually that is runway 1 at MSY (Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport).
Lakefront's North runways are 36L and 36R. There are no city lights past the departure end of Lakefront's North runways......... just alot of lake frontage......... and an occasional boat.

"Jester1236 this is the tower, that's some mighty fine shooting. You are cleared stop-and-go
as we would like to see more aerial footage from the 7D".

I guess it was the blackness to the right of the runway at 00:26 that made me think it was Lakefront, but I guess I was wrong. I've never actually been to Lakefront after all.
