New OLED Sony HDVF works with F35

also it's cool you got SRR1, if you look on eBay there is F35 listed for 10k Otto parts and in his package he has special IF box designed for the SRR1. Maybe he will park with just that box. It is a shorter IF box with dual link output and 4 pin to power SRR1. Did you look back at the really interesting thing Viddovation was doing with his SRR1?

I can't remember the company that made that special IF Box. What are SRR1 limitations? Can it do 12-bit? I can't remember anymore.

I always wondered if you could make SRR1 into SRR3 using SRW1 connection. It's such a bummer Sony didn't release SRR3, SRR1 is still very good, but the SRR3 would of integrated with F35 and offered everything it has to offer.

And that record button on the side would work.

I've been hunting the ancient SRW1's actually. The trick is finding them with all 3 upgrade boards because most sellers don't know wtf you are talking about. I like the idea of playing around with SRW1 for speed ramping. Correct me if I'm wrong, the SRW1 and Codex with F35 "WET DOCK" are the only recorders which connect to F35 dock port.

That is my understanding, as well I've used both the SRW-1 and the Codex, the SRW-1 is the best integrated recorder for the F35. It supports everything except 12bit and you can even review playback in the viewfinder. It is the only recorder that can do that. I have a spare SRW-1 with all option boards I was keeping as a backup, the processing unit has a NVRAM error but works the remote connection to a computer doesn't work is the only side effect I've noticed. I hear this is a simple fix. I also have a spare Kona 3 with breakout box if you are interested.

I have the EL30 with the Flippy screen. It's everything you wanted and more, but yes, it costs more than an F35. It is compatible. And so will be the EL20.

Mad love! Thanks for sharing. That's awesome.

Does the F35 spit out 1080 to the EVF?
