New Nikon-GH1 adapter arrived....

... and it works great for lenses with an aperature ring.
However my lenses without seem to default to their highest aperature.

Is there any way to set the aperature on lenses without a ring? Or has this now launched me into a constant search for old Nikon glass?

I have searched thru the threads here and have seen mention of the same problem but I couldn't find the fix.

There is a different adapter that has a bolt that will work with those lenses that uses the bolt to push the little tab on the back of the lens. The other option is to try and wedge something in there.

Yeah I saw that thread, but I also saw the thread that shows how the dial ends up pointing straight down which would make it unaable to mount on my Glidecam & my shoulder rig.
