Re: New Music video

Hi Rob

I remember seeing this as a 'work in progress' don't I? This looks great. There was some sync issues on a couple clips but who knows if that is a compression/computer specific?

No complaints; this is sharp!

Re: New Music video

really like the video quality.. I just got my cam and i can see from your clip what a vid can look like ..nice.... i would like to know if you did anything in post and what you are using..

Good Stuff

Re: New Music video

I agree with skettalee to make it 'clickable' although I had no trouble finding it. Hey skettalee! It is viewable with Windows Users. ? ? ?

Re: New Music video

Re: New Music video

John-

You are so right I was working this project at the start of the year got the artist to sign off on it. Thank you for the words of support. I looked at the video for off sync stuff but didn't find it. Maybe its the way it was compress.

Tech side of things:

I shot this using the default f4 setting only. Use soft-lights, the color correction was done using FCP & Color finesse 1.1 good tool to have.

Viewing the Video:

i wil see if I can get a windows version done for you guy's that have a PC, but if you have Quicktime on your system please go to the site and Click Vonyse the video should start to play.

Thanks,

Again

Rob

Re: New Music video

Wow! This is excellent work. So colorful and soft. Do you remember your settings?  24p Advanced? Detail settings?

I love that EXT shot of the building, framed so well. I hope I can get this look on my music videos.

UPDATE
-------------

Opps! I just saw your responce with the setting you used. Did you convert the frame rate at all?

Re: New Music video

BAD ACTING. The singer isn't singing with no where near the same emotion she used when she recordeded it and thats terrible. It show so much. The quality is great, the skits you've done are great there. She just doesn't use any emotions lip singing her stuff. Also i found plenty of spots where she isn't even exactly to the lryics, maybe its a synce problem. Damn that sucks and makes the video terrible. Its such a great video i bet it looks perfect without the music but just seein her trying to sing the song on the video makes it bad. Tell her to do it over again. Some people have it, some people dont. Maybe she dont deserve to sing it in the video. lol.

Re: New Music video

regarding the child that posted, i may not have the quality that the video he did has, but i and others i've worked with do have a bit better acting skills when it comes to singing something. I may not have much of anything according to music video's up there but i have done it plenty of times and they lady that was singing just wasn't showing any emotion to what she sang. And it showed terribly in her video...

I didn't say anything bad about the guys work, its more of an acting thing going on there....

Plus how about you tell me something bad about my videos kid?

Also ok robeditor, id love to hear your feedback to some of my past stuff.... I dont think any of it can really teach you much though.

Re: New Music video

I didn't notice ANY synch problems. If it was viewed online, it's most likely a problem with bandwidth of the person viewing it. I have T2 so i have NO problems with the sych.

The acting? It's a music video. I didn't see any problems there either. I thought the emotion was fine.

So you shot this whole thing on the DVX100? Nice work.
Keep it up.

Re: New Music video

its not much, barely antyhgin. its not a bandwidth problem cause i let it download and watch it over and over, she just dont show the emotion she should, i cant believe some of you guys dont see it!

Re: New Music video

Acting shouldn't be an issue; it's a music video. Perhaps this is the performers presence? I thought it was great. Good work.
