Just wanted to tag this thread and bring it back up the food chain - It's one of my favorite clips from here and was checking to see if there are any updates.
I'm glad Dakota bumped this up -- I don't think I had joined the group yet when it was up before. Tremendously impressive. Just awesome looking. Great composition. Throw in a monkey and you're done.
It was just fantastic. The colour and lighting were great. Great job. Was it a single camera job? I'm sure the editing process was quite tiring.. Do you mind sharing your experience? Thanks.
This music video compelled me to post. Really excellent work.
The ECUs were very welcome by me. In fact, the straight ahead medium shots of the singer were my least favorite part. I would like to see it on the telly, to see if it still feels as right. Beautiful video, thanks.
I as well have to chime in here. Amazing video, and in my post I'm not going to use "ECU" . . . wait, damn, I just did.
The lighting was excellent, I really think that is what maid the video. You have a strong understanding of color theory and really made the band pop.
I also just have to say that that band rocked. It is very fresh to hear something new. I am so tired of most rock these days, it really gets boaring hearing the same band all the time and then figuring out that you have been listening to 100bands. Man I love that guys voice. Great work overall. I normally as well don't like to even have the band in most videos, but this one really worked. Congrats man.

It was one camera (dvx100). The editing was actually pretty smooth. It was edited within a week. We had lots of coverage to choose from. Funny thing was, the side view of the main singer was the last shot of the day and a bonus. We liked the lighting setup so much it ended up being our main angle.

I love the colors and the framing...there is not a single flaw in here as far as I am concerned. Definitely the best I've seen on this board.
Great work, man...[/quote]
Thanks man. Quite a compliment coming from the master of framing.
i've seen it 4 times now, and it seems to get better each viewing. ? do you play music ? my guess is yes. the band n bob gundu are lucky as to how they hooked up. good work all.
Bob, the Fairweather video is yours? I remember downloading it 3 months ago, when I first got my DVX100, but forgot who posted it (I was just a guest back then). I kept your video on my harddrive because I wanted to show everyone what the DVX is capable of doing in the "right" hands. That is a great video and fits the song perfectly. All Roads Lead Here and Fairweather - You've got the gift buddy. Good stuff.
