I never said got milk was a big budget production, I just said that it's clearly made by a larger crew with more experience and more money--just look at the locations, costumes, and even the website.

I've been hearing about Got Milk. But I'm on a dial up modem and it would take hours to download this trailer. The site looks phat!

I would really like to know what it's about. I heard it was an action thriller about milk but I don't know how true that is.

First off I commend anyone who has the guts and drive to take on producing their own feature film. You have to have so much determination to force yourself to make it through what must be a stressful experience. I wish to support your film and purchase a copy once it is completed, as with any DVX user who makes his or her own feature.
Thanks, thats so cool of you. I think you'll like it. I'm shooting the last scene Saturday. I'll keep everyone informed as to when it drops.
Not to be disparaging but a couple things stand out that to me may limit the appeal of someone(distributor) purchasing this film. The biggest being that in the trailer the conversation between your lead and the other guy who I assume passes him the disc - they are both looking frame left. Maybe in the actual feature you have one of them looking frame right, but in the trailer it shows a major eyeline flaw. I'd take it out(maybe have the guy who passes the disc be voice over and just have the look from the lead). Only other thing that stood out was when the lead turned away from camera and pointed out his gun it looked like he shot it. Next shot shows his gun fire blast. I'd either put a gun blast in the first shot, or take the other one out. Maybe throw in some gun shot sounds. You can find them anywhere on the web. As for the music - I kinda like the fast beat it's catchy. Sorry to comment on your show, just want you to put your best foot forward when you go about trying to find distribution.
Thanks. Check out the third trailer, see what you think. And the music was done by The Beatsmith an up and coming producer here in Chi-town. As far as the gun shots, the main guy is going to shoot but when the antagonist rolls our hero has to jump out the way before he gets shot. Also what did you think about the new music? (On the 3rd trailer).
Just saw your new trailer - 10x better! Kick ass and keep on going! Now it makes more sense and teases enough to make me wanna watch it, great job. great mix of everything. Titles need work though, but you already alluded to that before, I'll leave it alone.
Thanks Ruster. When you started talking about falling into the Steven Seagal trap in your last post that's enough to scare the pants off any action director. Actually some of his newer films aren't as bad as said (he's trying to go HK now) but they certainly aren't vintage Seagal.
In his defense I will say in some of his films he wanted more monologue and it was the studio that said no. The cool thing about indie flix, no studio. The problem is with no studio there's no budget either but at least you can say what you want to say without being censored.
I didn't want to come off as an a-hole, I sometimes do that, I just wanted throw out a caution while you're still here in the message boards, and not when you're out trying to sell your film. And yes, as a guilty pleasure, I too liked some of his movies, can you say "Under Siege" (I just lost any ounce of credibility with that one - LOL). If Stevie would just buckle under and work with some bigger stars...oh well. It also is definitely nice to say what you want with your film, and yours definitely has potential, I'm a big action movie fan so it appeals to me, and throw in some biblical, end of the world sh*t and I'm there w/ popcorn and gum on my shoe. I would like to see it sometime, though it looks like you prob. live on the East Coast, if the film makes it to LA, I would love to see it.
