New Link for "Reflets d'Automne"

Re: New Link for "Reflets d'Automne"

Shadow,

Nice work! The reverse water drop was my favorite part. Took me a bit to figure out what was happening, then I had to watch it again.

I'm really impressed with the compression. That clip was very sharp, and nice and big. I've had no such luck using the stuff included with Adobe Premiere Pro. Can you share your technique?

Hi BigTime,

I done the compression with the software of Sorenson Media, Sorenson Squeeze 4. with the output of MPEG4 Large, add a lighten filter were I tweak the contrast, brightness and gamma depending of the film look of the original film.

If you found this version nice and sharp, you will have to see the version coming out of the new MPEG 4 AVC, it is way better but Quicktime can't read it now. I have to watch it with VLC player, it is amazing how sharp it is, no comparison.

Beautiful. Thanks for posting. What filters did you use while shooting?

Re: New Link for "Reflets d'Automne"

Me,

The filters I used most of the time are B&W from Schneider, KR-1.5, KR-3 and 6; KB-1.5, 3; yellow and polarized mostly for the water reflexions. The important thing with filter is always buy the best you can have, stay with renown brands, they go in front of your lense and get a mate box.
