New Glass for Emounts?

Been googleing around trying to find any info (or even rumors) about new Sony Emount glass.

Oct 1 is new fiscal year so budget time is closing in.....Trying to decide to go with metabones/canon or wait for Sony G zoom?

Any thoughts?

I'm the same way. Just bought the FS700 and I have no glass so I'm trying to figure out which direction to go. I'd love to be able to use the phase detection if I could because why not.

PL is the best way to go but seriously it depends on the type of job you are doing. If you don't need the AF, I would defiantly go with EF glass because you still get that stabilization on some EF glass and a lot sharper than e glass. My optimal way is set of ZF.2 for narrative and canon 24-70mm and 70-200 for docs and something else but it's just me. Still depends on the work and budget you are dealing with, a lot of good lenses out there that cost less but work great.

Still waiting for some announcements, people seem to think we'll hear a lot more as Photkina 2012 gets closer in Sept. Been holding off on the Metabones myself, i think i'd rather have E-Mount with all the bells and whistles. Just the mention on rumor sites of a 35mm 1.8 and a 16-50 2.8 have me all excited, but i guess we'll see in Sept if they're for real or not.

Yep, I could really use an emount 16-50. I just have to buy in the first week or two of Oct or risk losing my funding to other priorities.
