Seen a New 2011 GH1 for sale that has the serial number of WE1xx that is Hacked. It is said to have the most improements in FPN, (whatever that is). Have you guys heard about this? I was considering a GH1 as a B roll for my GH2.
Yep, old news. I currently own a 2010 GH1 that was originally hackable, and I just bought a new GH1 which I also hacked. The new bodies do have some improvement of FPN/noise, which is the video signal noise that occurs at high ISO - i.e., new bodies are somewhat better in low light. By the way, emory's settings, which are linked in my signature, have been shown to improve low-light performance of the GH1.
