Good to see you are getting a result in bright light

I love the way you can get a small stabiliser up a mountain so much easier than sticks on a lift !

Some downers..

I think you are shooting at F22 and have a dusty sensor !
In terms of operating the camera maybe skip a few shots where we see your shadow?
Also if you could get lower, closer or pass closer to obstacles or maybe skim by some trees we would get more of an impression of speed..

Maybe try some side on shots with a bit of zoom too.

Do all this while operating a stabiliser and skis ! :) - which I know is far from easy!

To add some angles to the footage you should probably get a GoPro and some gas tape too..

Oh man, I know. First day I shot, I noticed some spots and figured it was on my lens. Next day, I used a different lens and cleaned it up really good to make sure. Turns out it was on the sensor, I have sense cleaned it, but its unfortunate that you can't see these spots easily on the LCD screen possibly with the view finder you could, but i was lazy and paid for it. I was at a high F stop but it was more towards 11 or 16.

Its hard to avoid shadows with skiing, especially since the best angles can be from behind, where the sun tends to be. Kind of have to sacrifice with this.

A couple of the shots i used my glide cam upside down and you get a good low angle, but again, didn't want to do it for every shot.

I film more than just glide cam stuff, just tends to be the best way to get the most footage in the least amount of time. I will put one up soon with alot more tele/posted up shots.

stoked you liked it!

Aww yeah! really liked it man, I want to start doing some snowboarding / skiing filming, any tips :-)?

I don't know for sure, ..but maybe you can clean it in After Effects? .. dust spots in the SAME place on each frame.. should be some kind of way to clean it.. Even if it's take a lot of time - I think you have to do it - WITHOUT DUST this will be almost PERFECT sample of FS-100 steadicam movement! :2vrolijk_08:

Yeah, I just gotta be a little bit more on point in the future and I'll be okay ha

Nice to see that the camera can handle fast/action sorts movement. I come from a mountain biking background, glad to know I can capture my sport of choice!

Really nice camera work, BTW. Flow...

that was a sweet video i have the same camera but yet do do a video like that

Damn son, Daydream is easily the best I've seen from you. Maybe it's just me, but your glidecam stuff has improved a lot over the previous vids.

Looks wonderful. The shot at :22 on most recent vid is super-pro.

To me, the blue sky really plays into the quality of the shots. Clouds/flat conditions are kind of a deal breaker.

I haven't much used my Tokina 11-16 with my Sony, but I love the way a blue sky looks with that lens. Any exterior shots can yield vibrant colors on the right day.
