err which 4k size file are you referring to? the standalone version lets you edit the script and has all the other stuff like images included in it.
 
Someone should send this to President obama. He uses a prompter alot. It would help him stop saying , ah, ah, ah,
 
For as seldom as I use a teleprompter, something like this looks like it will be perfect. :thumbsup:

Just wanted to update everyone - proper mirrored text is coming shortly. It will require a font download but I am creating my own font that is much more complete and unicode compliant than the Kcab font that's in use on cueprompter. It is based on DejaVu Sans (an open source arial/helvetica - type font). You can look it up online to see what languages/character sets it supports.
I am hoping the international community will help me test out this upcoming release in their language to let me know if there are any problems with non-Latin character sets.

MIRRORED TEXT! MIRRORED TEXT! MIRRORED TEXT! MIRRORED TEXT!

After a few weeks and a few sleepless nights, I finally managed to get mirrored text fully working via a font (which I had to create) download.

Thusfar, it is FAR superior to what you find on cueprompter for a couple reasons:
1 - my font is unicode compliant so many languages and character sets will work out of the box

2 - I implemented some insanely complex (and annoying) code to make sure all the text is wrapped correctly.

There is only 1 caveat currently and that's if you resize the window or change font size during playback, the wrapping will get a little weird. I will fix this shortly.

For the time being, I need help testing this as much as possible - especially in languages other than english! Please let me know how it works for you!

As promised - new version of the portable standalone is available which supports mirrored text. You will need to install the font separately in order for it to work. If you need to carry this on a flash drive to another location, download the font AND the standalone version and keep them together. Install font on whatever machine you need to use and you're all set!

For those using the standalone version just click "Check for updates" on top.

Internet Explorer has been defeated. New version (1.0.5) of the portable app is now out with full support for IE. I dub this the "ugly" version due to lack of graphics :)

I believe this is a good compromise between functionality and aesthetics. I tried to make the non-graphicsl buttons look nearly the same as the ones currently in the full version. Go grab the latest version!

Bug fix and new portable version (1.0.6) is up - fixes the issue with Internet Explorer not handling the apostrophe correctly. Keep those feature and bug reports coming!

So it's been around 2 months since EasyPrompter launched - I'd like to hear some more feedback from people. Are you finding it useful? Is it working reliably? Want to see more/new features?

Currently on the table are 2 features:
1 - adjust the location of the "read here" triangle

2 - vary line spacing (double spaced text etc)

Which do you want to see happen first? What other improvements are you interested in?

Hi Everyone,

I am thinking of adding a "Pro" version to EasyPrompter. Some of the features would include:

- Saving Scripts
- Saving speaker profiles (for instance if speaker A always reads at speed 1 with font size 60, you can save it and then quickly apply it to a script - can also be used to easily account for hardware changes)
- More config options (like colors, etc)

I'd like to gauge interest in a product like this. This would be a subscription service. I am guessing I'd charge something like $10-$20/month for the service.

DVXUser members that have contributed to the development of EasyPrompter and anyone who has donated will get a free membership for a year.

I don't yet know how long this will take me to develop since some of these features are kinda complex, but I am just curious what everyone things of the idea.

Any comments are welcome.
