GH4 New footage

Cameras are always sold in several configurations, so you can buy just the body, or the body with one of a few kit lenses. Likely there will be a kit with a 14-42 lens too.

i love the quality and while i wish i could get the gh4...

Thank you. Thank you for these posts. i'm not going to be selling my D800 like i thought i was. Maybe i was hoping that the camera would make me a better artist, maybe 4K is a tool that will be required in the future... But today and right now, the craft seems much more important.
the camera matters a little less.

p.s
some of the posts in the thread are ridiculous

This was true even when the first cave-main decided to take a piece of charcoal an started doodling on a rock .... and will be true when 3D 4:4:4 16 bit 12K a camera is a common item.... ;-)

Question for the group,

This link was posted a few hours ago, and it is for someone that regularly posts videos of receiving NEW products and unboxing them. She has links to items like a Mac Pro, XBOX and many others. The link below she is posting about unboxing the GH4. You get to see everything that comes in the box. My question for the group is, a number of times it's been reported that the videos we are seeing online are shot with the GH4 "kit", but we've heard no talk from retailers or panasonic about it shipping with a lens. We've all heard that the $1699 price is for the body alone.

This video shows that the body ships with a 14-140 lens. Anyone know if this is true? does the $!699 include the 14-140 lens?

is this a bonus Panasonic is "surprising" us with?

Have any of the testers tried using Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB card not the new one but the already available ones for recording 4K? I'd like to know if you are experiencing dropped frames as the speed should be fast enough for 4K

Well..... You are hanging out on DVXuser in a forum for a GH4 camera. Just sayen.

Now I´m reassured - these clips were shot with the GH3...

Not acording to the video maker. He said in the comments that its the GH4.
But either way, if thats the GH3 like you say then Im sad I sold it. Still no aliasing or moire though, must be your monitor.

Sorry for beeing sad. I asked Gabriel (the videomaker) - he confirmed that the original video was shot with the GH3. At the moment i can't watch it on my iphone. Will do at home later - maybe he replaced it...

Zaven13 stated on the PV site said he got pretty much all the modes to work with that card - even with spanned clips (up to 20mins I think)...

edit: found the info

I did further testing of GH4 with various class 10 cards (Sandisk 64 GB 95MB/s, Sandisk 32GB 30MB/s, and Transcend 64GB SDXC I believe to be 20MB/s). I mounted the camera on the tripod and zoomed at the TV screen using Panny 14-140 lens. I tried various combinations of MP4 (LPCM) and MOV modes with different Rec Qualities including 4K (30p, 24p) FHD 200-I (60p, 24p, 30p), FHD 100 (60p, 24p, 30p). I recorded clips ranging from 10 - 20 minutes (specially 4k and 200-I for 20 minutes). All tests worked with no failures and spanned multiple times. Class 10 cards look promising.
