Okay, so I've been filming for about two years, and I, prior, to actually uploading online; I was completely oblivious to how much the internet affect the quality of footage. So, over the year or so I've been working with different compressing techniques as well as editing to preserve the quality of my dvx 100b online. This is my latest edit.
I would like to know what you guys think it got 7 likes on vimeo already, so i think you wont waste your time, so please check it out and tell me what you think.

I will appreciate any constructive criticism

I am so sad I had to sell my DVX. Such a great camera. I want to get one again, as soon as I have some cash flow.

Your vid was nice, have you tried to upconvert? I have had some pretty fantastic results.

Omg this is the best feedback I've had in a while okay so lets start with the basics. I don't want to say color correcting cause i fear i might be wrong haha. So my setting i think are pretty decent but like when there's two much sun i have to manipulate the iris and the shutter speed ect. once i get good shots i edit them with adobe premire cs3, i know cs4 is out, and I i use color blance and i work in the negative section of it, so for like "high light blue" i go down to like -25, and i do this for three main levels which makes the shot darker but brings out real good color. then since i truely believe good color relies on the absence of color i use a shadow/highlight filter and i go to this special section called color correction and i doc it down to -like 20 and it drops the color but still leaves some so you sorta get color but you dont.
then for uploading i use adobe encorder and i put it on level 5.1 main and i keep it at 720 by 480 before i use to upload in 864 X 480 which was the same however, i did a small flash video and i had to upload in different settings and messed up my old settings.

hope this helps

and this was definatelty amazing feedbaack
