AC160 New firmware version 3.07

Hi

Just saw that there is a new firmware version available, 16 June 2014:

[ UPDATE ] AG-AC160A Ver 3.07
CH recording mode is added.

I can't find any information about CH recording mode. Anyone know anything about that?

My AC160AEJ:s firmware is 2.0.something, is it worth tha upgrade?

There is no info about earlier versions other than 3.05. The 3.05 seems to have something to do with Eye-Fi, don't know what that is

This update is for supporting AG-SFU160G ( Optional Software Key for Eye-Fi Connected function).

Should be interresting to know more about what has been changed from 2.02 to 3.07.

The EyeFi thing is an optional firmware package you can buy and install, if you want to be able to use wi-fi-connected EyeFi SD cards. So version 3.05 added the ability to upgrade your camera by buying and installing optional firmware upgrades such as the EyeFi upgrade.

CH looks like it's a super-low-bitrate recording mode for 1080/60i. It's 3.5 megabits per second, 1440x1080, and can record almost twice as much as the previous high-efficiency recording mode, HE.
