I'm actually having a bit of trouble understanding some of the updates.

Simultaneous HDMI and SDI output on the C200 is great. I wish they would add it to the C500II.

It looks like they might be adding back in proxy recording for the XF-AVC mode as well as adding Long GOP 10bit 422 recording to the C500 II. Am I reading that right?

What is the 60p pull down to 24p/30p? I mean, they already have that available through the S&Q mode. Maybe this is a mode that will include audio. Or maybe it is just a pull down to the proxy?

Also, I wish I had some idea of the date this would be released. I'm not that impatient though since it is still going to be awhile before I get any jobs coming in.

According to one comment there, "later this year".

More info should clear up by when it's time to visit the official page(s) and download them.

I'm actually surprised they added any new FW update for the C200 for anything. Perhaps that signals that the C200, along with the new lowered cost IS the new C100 MKIII as some have postulated?

Canon always drags their feet on FW updates in my experience. Remember how long we had to wait from announcement of new XF-AVC codec to the time the FW implementing it shipped? Wasn't it like 7-8 months?
I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get this for the C200 at least until Fall but maybe they'll surprise us and make it sooner. The C200 should have had this from day one, amazing it didn't, not being
able to output from both HDMI and SDI simultaneously has made life difficult on several occasions for me.
