New DSLRmount Now released from shoot35

The price is right. Hopefully the quality of the product turns out just as good. But for £99 it's worth taking the risk.

Anyone experience with the quality of these Shoot35 products in general?

In short, their product is nothing less than awesome. Build quality is up there with Zacuto imho but for a fraction of the price. None of this gimmick sales technique employed to justify a high price tag, Wayne has always delivered high end quality at amazing value.

That's good to know. Sounds like an amazing deal then.

Their Cinefocus looks pretty slick as well. But the thing that worries me are the lens gears with a diameter of only between 50-80mm. It won't fit my 82mm tele lens for sure, but I wonder if it will fit my two 77mm lenses? Since the focus rings have a larger diameter than the lenses front diameter.

I was about to build my first rig with the indirailspro DSLR, but now I think I'll buy the shoot35 DSLRmount instead.
I'd like to get it with 10 inch rod extensions but the website keeps telling me it's 'out of stock' when I click the 'add to basket' button. Both the DSLRmount and 10 inch rod extensions are in stock when I add them separatly to the basket, though.
Did I miss something ?

Hi,

Sorry about that, we did not turn off the stock control feature of our cart system when we added this product, so the cart thought we only had 10 in stock. All fixed now, you can add to basket :)

I've just got the new baseplate package and am trying to figure out how to combine it with my old SGPRO follow focus for a 7D setup. I need to raise the FF a bit I think since it's bigger than the 550D. The same height mismatch problem occurs if I use the battery grip with my 550D of course. Any thoughts?
