New Documentary

I rewatched it... i don t know what to tell ya. Like the previous post said,... i can hardly see 90 or 60 minutes of .."this"... And, honestly, i'm(normally at least) really really open in term of what i see. Yes, it s now more 'clear' what you intend to do,... but i can t think about somebody interest to look at it. You might want to ask yourself why you really decided to do that,...if it s just to "supposedly save the company"...it's seem definitely not enough to me, to get the people to watch it.

And, the uh...umm...of the guy are just annoying, i would cut that. And yes,...continue to film, i agree with the last post, the bes doc are always the one that end totally differently than what they were supposed to.

Good luck

Yeah... the narrator reminds me of the guy from PBS's "Reading Rainbow", it's pretty depressing to watch as an adult. Maybe your audience is more for first to fifth graders.

Hey :cheesy: maybe they'll credit you'r doc some day for inspiring their directing dreams.

Wow, never got that before... I am surprised that the creative process of filmmaking is uninteresting to you...

And if he sounds like Lavar Burton...great! That's marketable!

That's the point I was making ...it is marketable. However, to a different much younger audience! With that said, I wouldn't draw a direct conclusion that because this particular doc doesn't tickle someone's fancy, then he/she is not interested in any creative process of filmmaking.

It's how you present NOT WHAT  . Since in this business it's all in the quality of your work and not just the work itself, you have to keep in mind that the audience has a high standard. Therefore, beware of the thought that because you own a DVX and somewhat of a plot, then you can just throw something together and it will always stick.

Just some constructive criticism, don’t take it personal. I do however admire all the enthusiasm and commitment to the project, nevertheless, keep quality in mind and don’t just leave it up to the camera. And that my friend is being creative.
