New Cinema Camera this fall?

Panasonic might be more interested in the streaming hardware/software than in cinema cameras ... .
I forgot about that post. Streaming it is.

Do note the Canon has so many recent models and older models at reduced prices in the low/mid cinema niche that it's pretty difficult for anyone else to put their two F-stops in. Then add R5 and R6 on top of that and one may as well just pick up his toys and go home.

But that was before S1/S1H. And now S5.

I still don't find the FF Panasonic is a good replacement for the GHx line. I like having a smaller kit where I can fit a couple of bodies and 5 - 6 lenses into a standard case.

I can see using the S1H when you want better IQ and are prepared to deal with the higher cost and heavier gear. ( if Panasonic ever gets their C-AF performance sorted out, I would mind shooting on FF or MFT, but given the choice I would still go MFT over FF )

Given the competition that Panasonic currently faces, they need top notch C-AF performance more than anything.
