I have just uploaded my new 4 minute short shot with the Canon 1D Mark IV. It's about a waitress and bartender, longing to close, being frustrated by lingerers looking for love. I think it's worth checking out.
You can view it at:

pretty nice, i enjoyed it for the most part, but feel you could shorten 20-40 secs off.

And please to the jackass who posted a spoiler in the first dang post, take it down before you are banned.

That is probably one of the best looking shorts I've seen shot on a DSLR...I would have loved to have seen backlight, it would have really made it pop more.

But this is what I want to see coming from these cameras. Subtle, sharp, smooth. Not someone hung up on super shallow focus that is more of a detriment than they realize.

Good job!

Canadians can't have a flame war. All the ice would melt. ;)

I agree with the Sarlacc. We all get tired of super shallow dof. It's nice to see someone not shooting wide open on fast glass the whole time but still using the potential of the camera.
