New BMX edit

zeroblank,

great video. I am considering buying the hmc150. Can you tell me if this is raw edited footage or if you used something like magic bullet looks. Also, was this video shot with the camera's own lens or did you have some type of 35mm lens adapter on it. And what software did you edit in? I am also really curious how you export from the editing software to get such great video online. Thanks so much!

The 150 would be a great choice for you! No magic bullet or 35 adapter. This is all straight from the camera itself. The longer end of the lense really produces some great DOF. As for editing I use premiere pro cs4, I use the pansonic transcoder to convert the footage to DVCPro HD and go from there. I exported as an h.264.

Hope that answers your questions!

Thanks zeroblank!

Now the video is even more impressive. One other question then, I am going to a video dealer with a sdhc card and I am going to do some shooting on a hmc150 and then bring the card back to test on my computer. How would you suggest I set up the camera for some shooting tests? What kind of settings were you using for your outdoor shooting?

Very noice! Although were a couple of overcooked shots, there was some real money shots amongst this too. Pretty sweet edit man.

Hey guys thanks a lot! I know there are some over exposed shots. It was one of those crazy sunny days and the clouds kept moving and the light just kept on changing so quickly. But I didn't want to waist a good trick!

Larry - I would imaging it would be tough to spend time adjusting the scene settings to your liking but I definitely think you should run through the factory scene settings and see how you like them. Also check out the different shooting modes and frame rates. That is of course if you have time.

Mangler thanks a lot man, I'm a big fan of your work!!!, I'm gonna go check that easter edit now!
