New 5000mah Batteries

Dont worry guys.. I just got it worked out, The orders from the last week of April and First week of May got tied up in Customs cause they thought batteries where dangerous goods.. Most of em got sent back yesterday and a few slipped through, Email me at Battery@dvxuser.com if you havnt got them yet, Ive got new tracking numbers for ya'll.

Sorry for the retarded delays, this time it wasnt my fault :)
 
Jarred, does that mean future shipments might cop the same issue, or have you sorted it?

Also, how long from order til ship normally? I might have a DVX within a week (Cross fingers) so will need a decent battery pretty quickly.

Just curious - is there much of a failure rate on these batteries? Im looking at selling my Panasonic 5400 battery (getting one extra as part of a package) to fund the purchase 2 of these.

I ordered two of these batteries three weeks ago. I can't get a hold of anyone by phone or email regarding tracking numbers or when they'll be shipping. The money has certainly been collected though...can someone please respond to my queries?

I am having the same problem this guy is. I ordered on the the 24th and have not received any info back from you about my order/shipping. I emailed you and called several times. LEt me know what is going on. I am going on a trip in less from a week.

if you ordered the 24th they were not sent till either friday or yesterday, so you still got a couple days.

Oh I just found this thread... I ordered mine on 4th to Moscow. Any idea when I can expect it, Jarred? Thanks.

Try again later Mangler.. sometimes xpresspost is a day or 2 behind. Xl70e3 sorry, you just missed the cut off for the 5000mahs... yours will go out next wed, but your getting a free upgrade to the largest battery in the world so I hope that makes up for the wait.
 
Look people, Jarred may not like this, but reality is that you need to allow three weeks for delivery of your batteries so plan accordingly. He only ships once or twice a week, US or Canadian customs or somebody else holds things up, and two different postal services are involved. Plus, there is El nino. If the web page said three weeks for delivery, this thread would be about one page long. So if you are ordering batteries form Jarred (and you should, they are great bargains and seem to be great batteries), plan for three weeks delivery unless he personally tells you differently.

Thanks Galt.. i dont mind at all. I bet if you averaged it out it would be about 10 days per order, since I ship once a week some people get them in a few days others over a week.. and if customs gets em then yeah that adds another week. I think I figured the solution out though, at the beggining of the month when customs was testing the shipments to make sure they were not bombs, I drove across the border and shipped them via USPS from Seattle, which seemed to work very well. now im not gonna do that every week, but im moving down to California in a few months anyways so I think thats gonna help it all out.

I feel like a dick sometimes, people get really mad that they have waited a week or two to get em, and I dont blame em. I dont know how to make it clear that this isnt my job, im still learning these little mail order tricks.
 
The secret to life is to underpromise and overdeliver. I can deal with anything as long as I know. I expected my battery in 10 days, and when it didn't get here it really messed up some things I still haven't recovered from due to weather. But if I had planned on three weeks, I would have just ordered it BEFORE I ordered my DVX. Truthfully, we don't care that it isn't your job, we just want to know how to plan our lives. And while the average may be 10 days, that does not mean anything to me. I want to know when I can count on it being here, and I don't even care why. SOoner is okay, but later is very bad. So if 99% of your orders are deleivered in three weeks, that is what you should tell us. If we plan on 10 days (since that is average), HALF of us will be disappointed.

And that's all I have to say about that.
 
heh heh sorry dude.. dont know what else to say. I try my best. I learned along time ago i cant make everyone happy, and that problems happen. If i actually made money on the batteries perhaps i could hire someone to take care of it fulltime, but I thought selling these at cost for my members would buy me a little leniency. bad Jarred.. bad.
