uh, how about hawaii then? soak up some sun, enjoy paradise, learn about the dvx... it's win win. not that i'm biased because i live there or anything.
 
We may actually do Hawaii when we reschedule the HVX Hawaii bootcamp, but if so that's months down the road. Los Angeles will be the first, I think the date has been fixed as July 30th.
 
Thanks so much Barry, Jarred and everyone else involved in bringing back the DVX Bootcamp. Can't wait to join you in LA on the 30th!

no worries. i just got my dvx a month or so back, so plenty to learn during the next few months. luckily i have your book though, and that has been a great help. thanks for taking the time to do that barry. it really is a great service to this community.
 
I went through Dov's two-day film school in 1994 when I lived in LA. It was very informative and well worth the money. Is it equal to spending four years at UCLA or USC? Hardly, but with Dov's fast-paced style and intense classes, you'll learn a lot about the film production and selling business. Actually, you may even learn some things they don't teach you a UCLA or USC.

Day One: Make the movie. Day Two: sell the movie.

Even though I had no plans for getting into feature films, I'm glad it went through the class and even have my "diplomas" framed and hanging in my office.

hell yah - were getting a dvx bootcamp!!!!
see what a little protesting and vocal marching can do my fellow dvxuser DVX owners. we screamed loud enough and it looks like they heard us - so cool. you made my year jared and barry.

now i will hopefully be able to turn hours of my life
from being a frustrated madman :furious3:

into a productive filmmaker sans ulcers!!!!!! :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
