Hi all :)

Sorry for the silly question here.

Do people in this site network?

I mean - work with each in making shorts, films, etc?

Thanks.

:)

yes they do. a great deal. I worked with about a dozen myself. and a lot of others collaborate on entries for DVXFest.

Yeah, not so many over there. But you can also collaborate with people from other countries. The internet is your friend ;)

I collaborated with 3 DVXusers already:

Herman Witkam from the Netherlands did the kick ass score for my short film.

Luis Caffesse from America (our Wookie moderator) was the narrator on a short of mine.

And I did the Visual effects for a short film for Norm Sanders from America.

Only your imagination holds you back! Get involved and start collaborating. It is a great community!

Chicago burbs here... park ridge, niles, skokie, morton grove, northbrook, deerfield, glenview, highland park, lol im usually running around here most of the time, if anybody wants to hit me up.

I met my now most important collaborator on dvxuser 2 years ago not even knowing he lived about 5 blocks from me. And I met him through a reel critique post when i recognized stuff around my town. I also met 3-4 other great colleagues.

I'll be shooting Divinity probably next year (maybe the end of this year). Doesn't pay a lot but it's a lot fun. If you've read my book "Action Filmmaking" you know how I work.
