Hi Guys,

I am shooting a wedding video at the end of the month and it's my first time to shoot using GH2s all the way ( I got two GH2 cams). I wont be doing a lot of slo-mo but will be using a glidecam.
Are there any downsides in using 24P when doing glidecam shots? I have seen some 24p videos in youtube that 'seems' its ok as long as I dont go crazy on the glides.
My Gh2 is un-hacked and will be using the 24H setting to get max bit rate. Any downsides you guys can see in my frame rate selection?

Any help will be very much appreciated!
Thanks!
Edwin

Since when was 30p an advantage over 24 and vice versa? I think as long as your rig is balanced and you know how to fly the cam you will be fine. Also if you are not recording something where someone is speaking or need it to be real time I would just shoot it all at 720 60p for slow motion.

I shoot GH2 A-Cam, and Nikon D7000 B-Cam.
It all really depends on the movements and timing. I shoot 720 for the more agressive movements, especially if we are doing the creative. But thats really very little of the overall footage.

For the bulk of the wedding, the ceremony, bride/groom dancing, and really any time the movements are slow 24p is perfectly fine. At 24p/30p you can easily slow it down to 70-80% and it looks fine.
But hack you camera, you can easily find some middle range hacks that moderately up your quality in all settings as well as release the iso limitations. Sanity 4.1 and 5 are a great place to start since it'll work with just about any Class 10 card.
