Need to rent a location/studio for a project

Not sure if this is the right place for this question, though, I would like to find a location in the Los Angeles that I can rent to do interviews over the next 8 months or so. I would like it to be a secure location that I can keep all of my lights and other gear setup and locked up in. Does anyone have any recommendations?

A garage? Seriously though I can't think of a studio that would allow you to leave your stuff there indefinitely. Why not just do it at your place?

I have all the equipment setup in my living room and it works OK, I could benefit from a couple more feet for the green screen, though. However, I am going to hire some people to do the interview project and it is going to require having other people come into my apartment and hang out for 5-6 hrs a day when I am not around, etc. It might get kind of annoying. Also a bit concerned about liability if anyone hurts themselves in my apartment and also noise from other people in the apartment.
