need quick answer: how much footage on an 8 gig cf card?

I realize this must've been answered here before but I need a really quick answer - assuming shooting on a 7D at top resolution/quality settings, how much footage fits on an 8gig card? (bonus question: what about 5Dmk2 - any difference?)

I think the 7D would get about 20 minutes; 5D gets about 24 minutes, but those are both wild ballparks. The actual recording time varies depending on the complexity of whatever it is you're shooting. Put the lens cap on and record, and you might get an hour of footage on that same card.
