I have two questions:
1/ I can't figure out how to switch the intervolometer (time laps) on. Whatever I do it's always blue, am I missing something?

2/ Is there a way to change the shutter speed and keep the viewfinder on?

thank you.

Seriously??? Okay then, I will give you the best answer.

Read the manual. I read 2time before I picked up the camera. It works and will answer your question. Then if you still have questions. Get Barry's book.

After those, If the questions still persist or if you experiences problems, Do a Search, If that keyword search doesnt turn anything up Post a new thread.

:) Welcome. :)

Short answer: interval recording is only available in VIDEO CAM mode -- go to the RECORDING SETUP menu and change the operation mode.

Surjones.... I did read the manual , I do have Barry's book and I did do a search ... I could not find an answer. I use forums (as a last resort) to find quick answers no need to be nasty. I you don't want to be helpful move on to nte next post.

Thoff, thank you for the answer.

I was not being Nasty, Just busting your suggots.

However since you clearly did NOT read. Here are pages in refrence to your question.

Interval:

HVX MANUAL: Section: Shooting: Page 42. READ THE VERY TOP LINE, TELLS YOU WHICH MODES YOU CAN SHOOT IN, and rest of the pages tell you HOW TO SE IT UP.

Barry's Book: Rec Function (p2 only) Page: 162 through 164. -- Also Read Blue Menu items to better understand on Page 105

ViewFinder:

HVX MANUAL: Section: Preperation: Page: 23: Read the Double Lined Notes after step six. Then Re-Read the Page.
