Need help

Hey guys, i made an account here because no one else could help me out with this issue and ive never come across it before.

Im shooting with the HVX200a at 720p30 using the internal mic for both channels and having a blank scene file in use.

When i log and transfer into final cut pro 7 the audio is out of sync and when i try to move it over to synch it up, its only synched for a few seconds. As if a bunch of frames were dropped or audio mysteriously was added in.

The audio and video are perfectly fine when playing back in the camera and even only the little viewing window on the log and transfer box, but everytime i transfer the footage the little circle icon is in a half moon shape and the audio is all messed up.

*note that ive loaded and edited HD hvx footage before on this same computer.

EDIT: just troubleshooted a bunch and figured out that the video is exactly 10% slower than the audio. any reason why?

Please Help.

Did you shoot 720/30pN, or 30 over 60?

What have you set for remove pulldown/duplicate frames in the L/T preferences?

I shot at 720/30

i havent even messed with the pulldown options because they should be the same as my last shoot which was last week and went perfectly fine.

So just transferred new footage from last night and everything synchs up perfectly with no changes to anything. now im both relieved and baffled. gonna get the camera checked out as well as my computer. thanks for the help and if anyone has any sort of explanation please reply back.
