C100: Need help with picture profile, or general help.

I went out and shot some footage of the public market today with the new C100. I used the wide Dr profile and just added a slight curve to the picture with a tad of saturation. I'm really not happy with the results, they don't seem half as clear or crisp as many I've seen here. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Shot at iso 850 and mostly f9 ish. It seems like there is almost a haze or something to me, hard to explain. Does that profile need a ton of color work to make it stand out? Wondering if I should have used the 709log (i think it's called that )
I have a shoot in the morning, quick advice is very appreciated. All shot handheld with the kit lens. http://vimeo.com/68924569

Regraded a tad and added stabilization. I'm not crazy about it, but I like it. I feel like it misses that WOW that i've seen from some footage on these boards. I may shoot 709log tomorrow, but after playing with the WideDR just now and adding "vibrant" in Magic Bullets, I think I'm starting to dig the WideDR too.

IMHO it looks a little over exposed especially the highlights. Did you use zebras of waveforms when shooting?

I only use C-Log which is flatter than Wide DR and have found that I can get more out of the images in Post in our often flat light and pure white skies in Ireland. I have zebras set to 90% to help me expose shots.

Try shooting that same market before dawn on a bright sunny day, use ND and open up the iris to around 5.6, maybe also use a monopod, you might like your results better then...

pay attention to focus and use your focus peak. In my experience it is more sensitive than DSLRs if you've used one.

I was using the ND filters, but I thought I may have overexposed a bit, because the LCD seemed too dark, or I didn't trust it.
I need to learn how to use wave frorm, as this is my first camera that has it.
