AC160 Need help with live streaming

I need to do a proof of concept to see if my AC-160a (on order) will do live streaming and what is required. I was told that the easiest way is to connect the camera to my PC with a Firewire connection. Then, I need Adobe Media Live Encoder 3.2 (Free) on the PC. I will also need a streaming host like Ustream or Livestream.

1) Is this correct?
2) When I built my high end PC, I did not include a Firewire port. Do I need a PCI card with a FW port, or is there a converter that will work with live streaming?

I think the quality will be a bit low, but if this works, I can always upgrade by using a Blackjack capture card and Wirecast software. Assume this would give me higher quality product.

If you are only streaming SD then you can use composite out from the cam and in via some device like a Dazzle (there may be better hardware options).

DV output will stream, but that's only standard-def. If you require HD, you'd need some manner of SDI or HDMI capture board.

Thanks for the input. In the end, I decided against Firewire and bought an Intensity Pro, which means it will be HDMI.
