Need Help With Demo Reel

I am a college student trying to make a demo reel since I am about to graduate and would love to have some help deciding what I should put in there. Here is a rough edit. Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Also I wouldn't use the Camera Flash transition so much it get's annoying after a while like someone keeps shining a flashlight in your eye and when you do make it last a little longer. Throw in some cross dissolve ,cuts and dip to blacks. You want to show your range of skills. I see some really good shots in there so I think you could really make it great

Hey, give the kid a complex why don't yah. Watching that demo from RIOT always makes me contemplate my own insignificance. Seriously though it's good to have a theme with your transitions but maybe do every third one or something. Liked the Boxes at the end.

LOL Obviously Riot is a huge player but it's always good to know what you're striving for. I know that it would take a lot to match what they're offering.

dear god I'm not worthyy!! I'm so jealous and suck so bad.

Anyways I definitely think you would have something there if you just took out the white flashes and tried what silverwolf said.

Thanks for all your comments. I definately think you are right about all of the flashes. Also, do you think I should put some other full videos on the dvd or just the reel?

If it's a DVD put the Highlight reel then put the full video ( as much as you can on the dvd )

I dont Know about full videos but a longer section cut from a feature you've done is not a bad idea.

I agree with the rest, take out the white flashes, otherwise it's pretty much on point, but I can't give a further opinion without knowing what kind of reel it is.
