Hi. I am a newbie with this video thing. I just want to ask what is causing the flicker on the video above. Thanks

Note: the lights are ordinary 20w office fluorescent bulbs around 14 pcs. installed in the ceiling 10 feet high.

but the clip is already like from capture, even while i'm viewing it in the camera's lcd it is already flickering. i'm thingking that there is a certain reason or factor in the environment where i shot the clip that caused the flicker to appear. i wanted to know that reason so i can avoid it next time. thanks.

to avoid it next time: If you live in NTSC land use 60 shutter speed. If your in PAL land use 50 shutter. What is the electric Hz cycle in your place? 60 Hrz or 50 Hrz? And what was your shutter speed when you shot it?

youre right Ted. I tried to take another clip on the same room with 1/50 shutter speed and the flicker was not there.but when i turn the dial either left or right the flicker appears. thank you very much Ted. I learned something new today. maybe simple for you but not for a newbie like me. :-D

Ok, I see you labeled you settings later in your video, I did not view it entirely, my bad. So you used 60 shutter. Try using 50 if its still there. Maybe your hrz cycle is 50 hrz.
