Right, i just paid for my baby and it's getting posted tomorrow so i'll have it on thursday.

I'm doing a shoot on monday with the new camera.
But there are no spare batteries available in the country at the moment! how long does the stock battery last, regular hand held shooting with changing zoom and a litle mic stuff, also with stabaliser on and lcd closed?

Second question, i'm being lazy, how long does an 8 gig card last in ph mode? thanks.

Thanks, it will get a full reading when it arrives. just trying to convince myself that i don't need to hire another camera until more batteries arrive.
It's gonna be damn hot shooting swimwear on the beach. 1920x1080 of bikini!

Dang yo my next shoot is in the freezing cold at a park and he's shooting swimwear on a hot beach =[ What gives?

I don't know about anyone else but I get right around 1 hour on the standard battery.:(

Some zooming, LCD open.

Why the viewfinder remains on when the LCD is open, I don't know but that has to cut down on how long the power last.
 
You could buy a tekkeon batttery and power it off that. Should run for hours and it's also good for laptops and everything else. Great purchase.
